DEFLOR's 20-year-experience has allowed it to move
beyond Brazilian borders. The company already applies its techniques and products in a
number of Latin American countries, being part of significant engineering projects in
various sectors. These include roads, mining, ports and other activities in which DEFLOR's
products may be usefully applied to deal with environmental issues.
In this section we
present some of our most important activities undertaken in other countries.

A watercourse protected and recovered with Bioengineering Techniques, using the Aquamesh
system (Patagonia, Argentine).
2. Protection of a fill slope by applying a bidimensional coconut
fiber anti-erosion biodegradable blanket (Cochabamba, Bolivia).
3. Protection of degraded areas using biodegradable blankets in the Andean mountains
(Manta - Ecuador).

Bidimensional coconut fiber anti-erosion biodegradable blanket protected canal, originally highly prone
to erosion. The canal is now fully recovered and protected (Panama canal).
5. Antierosion biodegradable blanket for use on roadsides, in the
Peruvian Andes - (Huaras - Peru).
6. Coconut fiber biodegradable blanket slope protection in urban
areas (Fibrax Screen® 400BF) - (Caracas - Venezuela).
